Hadoop Cluster Administrator

Course Overview

With the increasing adoption of big data in various organizations and companies, there are more and more implementations of Hadoop clusters in production environments. This has also resulted in an increasing need for skilled and expert Hadoop administrators.

This 3-day training provides comprehensive knowledge for a system administrator for real-world daily challenges in maintaining and operating Hadoop clusters. Through this training, participants are expected to be able to master the daily tasks of a system administrator in administering, managing, and monitoring Hadoop clusters. This training will use Yava247 Data Management  Platform, but it can be applicable for other Apache Ambari based Hadoop clusters.

• Linux system admin
• Infrastructure engineer

Prerequisites

The participant should be familiar with server or platform software concepts and have a basic understanding of system administration

At the end of this training, participants will have the knowledge and skills to :

• Understand Hadoop cluster architechture
• Manage Hadoop cluster using Apache Ambari
• Understand to work with HDFS, MapReduce and Yarn
• Administer other service like Hive, HBase, Phoenix, Spark
• Troubleshoot and secure Hadoop cluster
